Okay there are multiple games coming out for each console this November. Some are on multiple consoles. Need for Speed: ProStreet is one of them. So the question comes to mind,"What is the difference?".
The first major difference I always look at is price. Being that they are the same game, I expect to pay the same price, right? Wrong! The difference from console to console is big. And in order to save you from shelling out to much for this game, I have made this side by side comparison.
Up first the Playstation 3. I really feel it needs to be said, that this great piece of gamer technology is going to waste in its current stage. Just as I didn't see the point in shelling out extra cash for Twilight Princess on the Wii when it was also ported for my much cheaper Game Cube. I cannot rightly recommend doing so for Need for Speed: ProStreet PS3 version. Not when there is a cheaper alternative on the PS2. I mean come on, I didn't spend the extra cash for a PS3 so I can pay more for the same games I can own on a PS2.
I am sure you see the difference, but what about the other consoles? That brings me to the next choice. The Xbox360! While having tons of extras for this game, it limits you to one price. With no real incentive and not to mention the hardware failures, I find it hard for me to pour more money into this system given my high definition options.
And honestly I don't care how many backgrounds of game girls you offer me. Nothing justifies me wasting my money when better spent wisely can leave money left over to buy exclusives.
Next comes the always fun Wii. The Wii does not have the same stunning graphics of the other two but is the same game in all other sense. With Nintendo you get this game for either the Wii or DS, For a very fair price. Still not a perfect BPG as I can get the same thing for PS2 cheaper and not to mention the system its self cost less.
Need For Speed: ProStreet DS $29.82
Last we come to the grand daddy of all gaming. The PC. All to often gamers over look this tool of gaming bliss. But some will find it no surprise that this platform will once again take home the prize for best price for High Def quality. Where as the PS3 and Xbox360 charge $59.82 for this game.
Need for Speed: ProStreet DVD PC $39.82
Need for Speed: ProStreet DVD PC $39.82
Need I say more? Not all of us have the best gaming rig for the job, but for those that do this game will certainly become a favorite among your collection.
